Ritzville Show

This weekend's show makes three in a row!  The trailer is ready to go.  Mr. Quilt Patch has it loaded down with fat quarter bundles, new kits, and lots of bolts of fabric. We'll be in Ritzville on  Saturday, May 1 from 9 am to 5 pm.  We'll be at the Ritzville Grade School Gym, 601 S. Chelan (exit #211 from I-90).  Local quilters, please come say hello!  I'd love to see you.

Chocolate Mousse

Sometimes a girl just needs a little chocolate to go with her quilting projects.  I made this mousse the other night.  It's unlike other recipes in that it's not made with sugar.  I've been eliminating sugar in my foods and I'm feeling great!

Chocolate Mousse
8 oz. low fat cream cheese
8 oz. low fat cottage cheese
    1 1/3 C. skim milk
1 pkg. sugar-free chocolate fudge pudding mix
    8 oz. Lite Cool-Whip

Blend first three ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth.  Slowly add chocolate pudding mix until blended.  Fold in Cool-Whip and chill for three hours.  Sew while waiting. Scrumptious!

Moscow Quilt Show

Come see us at the Moscow Quilt Show this weekend!  We will be at the Latah County Fairgrounds: Saturday, April 17th from 10-6 and Sunday, April 18th from 12-5. Local quilters, stop by and tell Mr. Quilt Patch Lane that he has great hair and you'll get a FREE fat quarter!  How great is that?

Quilting for Boys

My daughter lives in the midwest and recently finished this quilt for her young boys.  She used the Hot Shot pattern and the All Star collection by Riley Blake Designs.  What a sweet project to give to the little ones in your life.  You can keep them warm now and create a legacy for the future!

Flirty Skirts

My friend Sue made this darling flirty skirt for one of her granddaughters.  The pattern comes from the Better Homes and Gardens Fast & Fabulous Quilting Ideas magazine. She used the new Summer Song fabric by Riley Blake Designs. It's been great fun to sew with Sue lately and see her projects.  Thanks so much for sharing your picture!  Do you have a great picture of a Quilt Patch Lane-inspired project?  Send it to me here.  It just might appear on the blog!
